

On Mac, check the Activity Monitor for PDApp, Adobe Installer, Install (or Uninstall).pkg to determine if our installer is still running. On Windows, check the Task Manager on Windows for msiexec, PDApp, and Set-up.dat to determine if our installer is still running. If the installation processes completes and the products are installed, you encountered no errors. The installer does not display any messages on screen during the installation. The steps below will help you identify issues on Windows prior to our proprietary installer initiating. The PKG installer is used to initiate our proprietary installer on Macintosh. There are a number of issues that can be encountered prior to our installation starting on Windows. However, if it’s not installed, follow the instructions to download and install.The Microsoft installer (MSI) is used to initiate our proprietary installer on Windows. Adobe apps should be automatically installed on Princeton managed devices. If your machine is managed by Princeton, you should first go to to claim your license using your netID. If prompted for an Adobe sign-in, enter your Princeton netID as on a Princeton-managed device Open the installer and follow the instructions.Note: If you do not have access to all Creative Cloud apps after initial login, please log out of the Adobe website and try again in 30 minutes.In the list of available apps, locate Creative Cloud and select Download.If prompted to choose an account type, select Company or School Account.This should prompt a CAS login along with a DUO two factor prompt. To install Creative Cloud, go to and sign-in with your Princeton netID.

Installing Adobe Creative Cloud on a non managed device The license is valid for one year, and you will be prompted to renew via your Princeton email. You can install Adobe apps on all your devices (desktop, laptop, mobile devices and tablets), however you can only have it activated on two devices and use it on one device at a time. This includes Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier, Illustrator and other services including an extensive font library. University provides faculty, staff and students is a free subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
